Located on an island, surrounded by soaring rainforests of hemlock and spruce, this park preserves a story few know about. It interprets the 1804 battle site of invading Russian traders and the Indigenous Tlingit who tried to defend their land. The park features 18 Tlingit and Haida totem poles, carving demonstrations, coastal trails, interpretive exhibits, and the restored Russian Bishop’s House, one of the last surviving examples of Russian colonial architecture in North America. Available as a poster, framed print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas, this original national park art would look great on any wall. For a full list of national park sites in all 50 states, check out the official website for the National Park Service.
